【摘 要】 高血压是导致心脑血管发病的主要因素，并发症包括：心肌梗死、脑卒中、心力衰竭等。有效地预防血压水平，可减少患脑卒中、心脏病等发病概率；有效地控制高血压，患者生存质量可以显著改善。多年来笔者采用中西结合用药治疗老年高血压，收到了较好的临床效果。中医认为高血压导致人体气化升降失常、阴阳失调；高血压病变在肝，病源在肾。治疗上多采用“滋养肝肾，清肝泻火，养阴通利”的治疗原则。
