患者就诊意识也是误诊因素。绝大多数患者仅在胸痛发作时就诊，心电图等检查正常而不注意保存，致使胸痛发作与缓解后心电图不能对比而使Wellens综合征患者误诊或漏诊。

 综上所述，为减少Wellens综合征患者的误诊及漏诊，应多加学习，仔细诊断，提高对Wellens综合征的认识水平。心电图表现是识别Wellens综合征的最重要的线索，临床应于重视。另外，可适当对患者进行宣教，告知其及时就诊的重要性，以免耽误病情，造成无法挽回的生命危险。
