【摘要】 目的：探讨指夹板外固定治疗第五掌骨颈骨折的效果及优缺点。方法：创伤骨科门诊第五掌骨颈骨折系列病例30例，均采用手法闭合复位石膏指夹板外固定治疗，并随访3～4个月。结果：4～6周拆除石膏指夹板外固定后，X线片示27例(90%)无移位，3例(10%)20°～30°轻度成角愈合。第3个月末，患侧第五掌指关节活动度与健侧比较[(84.9±4.8)° vs (87.4±2.9)°]，差异无统计学意义(t=1.465，P>0.05)。结论：石膏指夹板形态轻巧，塑型方便，一定程度上兼具石膏固定和小夹板固定的优点而较少其缺点，骨折复位固定好且能处于稳定状态，有利于促进骨折愈合和手部功能恢复。
