Investigator following patients writes down the time spent on each out-patient department in the whole course of record. The result that the average time of registration was 4.44 minutes, the average waiting time was 55.1 minutes, the average visiting time was 6.73 minutes, the average time of payment was 9.35 minutes, the average time of Getting Drug was 5 minutes, the average time of auxiliary examination was 52.7 minutes, the average time of B-ultrasonic examination was 47 minutes which took more time than any other auxiliary examination. The conclusion that the outpatients spent too much time on auxiliary examination and waiting in the service process.
