[Abstract] Molecular pharmacognosy is an interdisciplinary subject which involves multidisciplinary subjects. Molecular pharmacognosy requires students to possess the professional basis of pharmacognosy, biochemistry, molecular biology and other courses, also involves some new techniques and methods. Therefore, it is very difficult to teach. This paper explores the use of variety teaching methods and means to improve the efficiency of the curriculum bases on the features of molecular pharmacognosy, and analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of molecular pharmacognosy, in order to promote the development and improvement of the theoretical teaching of molecular pharmacognosy and serve to improve the overall quality of traditional Chinese medicine major students through molecular pharmacognosy.
