ANCC Accredited Professional Development Providers

Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD)  Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education  

The list of all ANCC Accredited Providers, ANCC Accredited Approvers and Joint Accredited Providers of continuing education is contained in a database searchable by state and credential type. Using the drop-down boxes below, select the criteria by which you want to search, then click the "New Search" button.

Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) The ANCC Accreditation Program identifies organizations worldwide that demonstrate excellence in Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD). Accredited organizations use evidence-based ANCC criteria to plan, implement and evaluate the highest quality NCPD activities. 

ANCC Accredited Provider organizations provide their own nursing continuing professional development activities. 

ANCC Accredited Approver organizations approve other organizations in two ways:


Other organization's continuing education activities, and/or Other organizations as providers.

Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education  organizations provide continuing education activities for both an inter-professional audience as well as for audiences of a single discipline.  For a list of our jointly accredited providers, please visit www.jointaccreditation.org

The Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) programs set the standard for residency or fellowship programs that transition registered nurses (RNs) and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) into new practice settings.

Participants of an ANCC PTAP accredited program earn a certificate of completion.

Current number of Practice Transition Accreditation Programs  (PTAP): 276 programs in 952 healthcare sites

The Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Accreditation (APPFA) programs set the standard for advanced practice provider fellowship programs that transition APPs (Physician Assistant/Physician Associates and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)) into new practice settings.

Current number of Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Accreditation (APPFA): 30 programs in 54 healthcare sites
