This Special Communication describes an initiative to standardize communication about cognitive impairment in older adults with Alzheimer Disease (AD), dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), frontotemporal dementia (FTD), and vascular cognitive impairment dementia (VCID).
The USPSTF recommends against use of beta carotene or vitamin E supplements for prevention of CVD or cancer. (D recommendation) The USPSTF concludes that current evidence is insufficient to assess the balance of benefits and harms of use of MVI supplements for prevention of CVD or cancer or use of single- or paired-nutrient supplements (other than beta carotene and vitamin E) for prevention of CVD or cancer.
