 在商品经济条件下，医疗服务也是商品。但是医疗服务具有自身的复杂性与独特性，而这些因素将会对医疗服务品质造成影响。只有认清了医疗服务的本质，才能在实际的医院管理过程中，采取标准化操作、流程化控制、精益化管理及人文建设，不断提高医疗服务水平，保证医疗服务质量。因此，深入研究与探讨医疗服务的本质与独特性，对现实的医院管理具有重要的指导意义。
