  [摘要] 目的: 了解南宁市第四人民医院2008～2010年收治的狂犬病患者流行病与临床特征，为今后狂犬病防治策略和措施提供科学依据。方法: 根据中国疾病预防控制信息系统和狂犬病流行病学个案调查表以及病例资料，对南宁市第四人民医院2008～2010年收治的狂犬病患者发病情况进行描述性流行病学分析。结果: 南宁市第四人民医院2008～2010年收治的狂犬病患者68例，男性患者占多数(76.5%)，以>45岁年龄组发病最多，农村居民及壮族人口占了大部分(83.8%、67.6%),发病时间全年都可发病，以第二季度为最高。有高达62例(91.2%)患者在被犬类咬伤后采取的措施都是不符合规范、未能全程进行处理.临床上以狂躁型为主，症状以恐水、怕风、畏光、狂躁不安等为特点。临床上一般采取抗病毒、静脉补液、镇静以及吸氧、退热等对症治疗，有2例病例采取人工肝血浆置换治疗，尽管患者症状有所改善，但最终还是死亡。结论: 暴露后伤口及时规范的处置、及早全程接种狂犬病疫苗以及注射抗狂犬病免疫球蛋白是预防狂犬病的有效手段，加强普及狂犬病防控知识，改变暴露后伤者不当应急行为；强化疫苗质量的监管；探索治疗狂犬病治疗的新途径，改善患者生活质量，延长生命体征。
