Enhanced contrast ultrasound imaging results of low-grade dysplastic nodules and high-grade dysplastic nodules in liver cirrhosis

[Abstract] Objective To investigate the features of enhanced contrast ultrasound imaging results of low-grade dysplastic nodules (LGDN) and high-grade dysplastic nodules(HGDN) in liver cirrhosis. Methods Two-dimensional ultrasound and ultrasonic imaging data of 17 low-grade dysplastic nodules patients and 20 high-grade dysplastic nodules patients were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were pathologically confirmed in the author's hospital from June 2009 to June 2011, and the lesion size, reverberation, boundary, sound dizzy and blood supply were observed. Results Ultrasound imaging showed no significant differences between low-grade dysplastic nodules and high-grade dysplastic nodules at arterial phase, portal phase and delayed phase (P > 0.05). Conclusion Ultrasound imaging of low-grade dysplastic nodules and high-grade dysplastic nodules in cirrhosis are of similar features; low-grade dysplastic nodules and high-grade dysplastic nodules can be diagnosed only by biopsy, but the three-phase enhanced performance ultrasound imaging can show the different blood supply changes in the liver, thus is helpful for the early diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
