Abstract:ObjectiveTo evaluate the self-tapping micro-screw implants as orthodontic anchorage in the maxillary anterior teeth within the collection efficiency. Methods 30 patients with clinical cases of treatment options designed extraction four first premolars, strong anchorage in the maxillary, all with self-tapping micro-screw implants as a means of anchorage.We select theimplant site between the second premolar and the first molar buccal alveolar bonein the maxillary.Theorthodontic force is under 350g after four weeks.ResultsThe success of the self-tapping micro-screw implants in five months is 93.3%. The effects of all the 30 cases are obvious.The molar anchorage is very stable. ConclusionAs a kind of anchorage method, the self-tapping micro-screw implant is very effective. We can put the anterior teeth backward obviously. And we can strengthen the molar anchorage.
